About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to support students with communication needs in a school setting.
Responsibilities
- Conducting assessments of speech, language, voice, fluency, pragmatics, and oral motor skills, and preparing detailed reports
- Providing evidence-based therapy to improve communication, learning, and participation
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and staff to apply classroom strategies and modifications
- Consulting with families and staff to support student development
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and coordinating services
- Maintaining accurate documentation for accountability and compliance
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- ASHA Certification (CFY or CCC) and current state licensure or eligibility
- Minimum of two years' experience, preferably with school-aged children
- Knowledge of K-12 special education requirements
Skills
