About the role
Provide speech-language services across multiple school settings to support student communication and development.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop therapy plans for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Maintain progress notes and ensure IEP compliance
- Collaborate with teachers and families
- Foster student engagement and growth
Key duties include serving approximately 32 hours at one school, 15 hours at another, and 6 hours with a high school caseload, working in diverse educational environments.
Requirements
- Active Florida SLP license required
- CCC or CFY preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education and IEP documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt communication for various age groups
- Experience in school-based settings valued
- Commitment to ethics and student-centered care
