About the Role
PediaStaff is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for a local contract position in Oak Forest, Illinois. This full-time, in-person role is for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting a middle school aged classroom of students with high support needs, many with a diagnosis of autism. The assignment is in one special education classroom co-taught with an LBS1 teacher at Morton Gingerwood (MGW) in Oak Forest.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services to middle school students with high support needs and autism diagnoses
- Collaborate with LBS1 teacher in a co-taught special education classroom setting
- Support students in developing communication skills within the educational environment
Requirements
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience or interest in working with middle school aged students with autism and high support needs
Pay
- $60-$70 per hour, W2
