About the Role

PediaStaff is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) for a local contract position in the Churchville, Illinois area. This part-time FMLA need involves working with 6th-8th grade students.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
• Current IL PEL (Professional Educator's License) and registered in DuPage County or willing to get registered
• SLP with their C's (CCC-SLP) required
• 1 year of school experience required

Job Details

• Schedule: Part-time, 3 days per week (flexible)
• Dates: 8/11/26 – 11/6/2026
• Hours: 21 hours per week, 7-hour days
• 30-minute lunch is paid
• Setting: 6th–8th graders
• Caseload: Approximately 40 students
• Location: In-person
• Pay Rate: $50–$60 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting evaluations to assess each child's unique communication strengths and weaknesses
• Creating plans that implement measurable, achievable, and functional goals
• Offering treatment to enhance communication abilities through various approaches
• Working in a comprehensive care team to address a child's specific needs
• Informing parents and families about available treatment options and the importance of early intervention
