School Speech Language Pathologist - $43-52 per hour

About the Role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a local contract School Speech Language Pathologist for a position in La Plata, Maryland. The role is for the 2026-2027 school year, with start date as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential support and specialized care to students in educational settings.
• Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to ensure students receive services tailored to their individual needs.
• Provide assessment and treatment for students with various communication disorders.
• Conduct student assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Support student progress through targeted therapy sessions and documentation compliance.

Requirements

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license required (willing to obtain state licensure accepted).
• School-based experience preferred but not required.
• 2 years of experience in the school setting preferred but not required.
• New grads welcome to apply.

Schedule

• 37.5 hours per week (Full Time or Part Time Options)
• 8-hour shifts
• Contract Length: 2026-2027 School Year

Pay

• $43.00 - $52.38 hourly
