About the role
Help students find their voice and thrive in the classroom! Cross Country Education is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary students in strengthening their communication skills this school year in Wolcott, NY.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person speech-language services to elementary students, supporting communication development and progress toward individualized educational goals.
- Manage an average caseload of approximately 25 students, providing direct therapy, IEP support, consultations, and building-level services.
- Deliver approximately 83 therapy sessions per month, along with approximately 3 student consultations per month, excluding additional evaluations and meetings.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and school teams to monitor student progress and support students’ communication needs across the school environment.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid and current New York State Speech-Language Pathologist License/Certification
- School-based experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
