About the role
The School Social Worker (SSW) plays a crucial role in ensuring student success by providing triaged direct counseling services, leading crisis intervention, supporting in adult development, and collaborating on building strong school culture.
Responsibilities
- Complete evaluations and write assessment reports for students with social emotional impact
- Create IEPs & 504s addressing root causes of impact areas
- Progress monitor direct and indirect services to ensure support is helping students
- Develop attendance plans and deliver professional development on trauma informed practices
- Support students with various needs through attendance plans and community interventions
- Lead on immediate crisis response and develop postvention plans
- Collaborate with culture leaders to implement safety and support plans
- Take on projects aligned with personal passions, such as delivering professional development, supporting attendance systems, and leading SEL initiatives
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Masters in Social Work or enrollment in a MSW program
- Unwavering belief in student success and ambition
- Desire for personal and professional growth
- Experience with restorative and trauma-informed approaches
- Experience working with English Learners and students of color

Pay
$70,000 - $88,000 based on years of aligned experience up to 10 years. Relocation stipend available for moves from 75 miles or more from Denver.

Full-time school year, benefits eligible, exempt, in-person position (Denver, CO)
