About the role

Amergis is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in the TK-8th grade setting. The ideal candidate will have a CA SLP license and CTC certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services to students with identified needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Evaluate student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in SLP

Requirements

• Active SLP licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for supporting students' communication and language development
