School Services - School Visual Impairments Teacher - $2,279 per week

Responsibilities

• Teach Braille, assistive technology, and independent living skills
• Adapt educational materials and ensure curriculum accessibility
• Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with staff to implement accommodation and train them in supporting visually impaired students
• Communicate with parents on progress and connect them with resources
• Provide accessible materials and teach students to use assistive tools

Qualifications

• CO teacher certification/license
• CO Special Education credentials for TVI
• Certification in Braille
• Experience in Assistive technology
