About the role
Health Advocates Network is seeking a School SLP to work at a Facility in DeBary, FL.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Provide speech and language therapy to students individually or in groups
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and team conferences
- Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders
- Follow school policies and state regulations
Requirements
- At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- A valid and current BLS provider card (American Heart Association)
- Proficiency in the English language for communication with other staff and patients
