Job Description
AHS Staffing is seeking a School Services School Speech Language Pathologist for a local contract job in Houston, Texas.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or closely related field from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas license as a speech-language pathology granted by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (preferred)
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in the effective use of technology
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior

About the Role
Develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been impacted by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. Supervise SLP assistants or interns according to district procedures, consistent with Texas Board of Examiners in Speech Language Pathology and American Speech Language Hearing Association guidelines.
