School Services - School Speech Language Pathologist - $2,114 per week

About the role

The great school is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist / SLP for a contract assignment starting August 3, 2026, for 43 weeks at 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients for speech, hearing, and language deficits.
• Teach patients how to make sounds, improve their voices, or increase oral or written language skills.
• Teach individuals how to strengthen muscles or use compensatory strategies to swallow without choking or inhaling food or liquid.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team to develop a plan of care for each patient.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Achieve realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills.

Requirements

• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP or be in the process of obtaining one.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team to develop a plan of care for each patient.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Achieve realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills.
• Candidate must be an SLP-CCC.
