School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) travel position in Roseburg, OR with PediaStaff, a division of AHS Staffing. Exciting opportunity for the 26/27 school year. - Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Oregon SLP license, or eligibility for the same

Role Overview
You will join a team at either of two locations. One elementary opening is about 20 minutes north of Roseburg, OR, with great housing available. The other opening is 20 minutes east of Roseburg with a K-12 small district in a very supportive community. At either location, no compensatory minutes are needed. As an SLP, you will develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been impacted by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.
Job Details
- Dates: Start now and work through the end of the school year and ESY, or start in August
- Hours: 40 hours per week; 4-4.5 day work weeks with remaining hours for paperwork
- Setting: Elementary school position or K-12 positions
- Format: In-person only
- Caseload: 45-55 max, all at one school site
- Housing: Housing assistance available; quality landlords in the area and coordination support provided
Key Responsibilities
- Manages and organizes specialized materials, equipment and environment essential to the speech and language program
- Provides educationally related communication intervention for students disabled by disorders of language, speech or hearing in a variety of settings as appropriate
- Assesses speech and language skills of students suspected of having a communication disorder and consults with teachers in developing IEP goals and objectives
- Provides resources, modeling strategies and training to other team members in communication interventions
- Communicates regularly the results of individual student assessment and progress with involved school staff (special and general education), parents and where appropriate the student
