About the Role

Join Cross Country Education as a dedicated Special Education Teacher and help a student develop the skills, confidence, and independence needed to thrive at school and beyond in Culver City, CA. Provide dedicated 1:1 instructional and behavioral support to a middle school student in a specialized educational setting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized instruction aligned with the student’s IEP, academic goals, and learning needs.
  • Collaborate with school staff, related service providers, and families to support the student’s academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development.
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate updates regarding goals and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Valid California Special Education Credential with Mild/Modate Disabilities authorization and English Learner (EL) authorization required.
  • Experience providing 1:1 support or working with middle school students in a special education setting preferred.
