Job Details

Dates: August 13, 2026- November 9, 2026
Hours: 8:00-3:15pm daily with a 30 minute paid lunch
Age: 3rd - 5th graders
Setting: Self-contained autism program
Caseload: 9 students
In-person Pay Rate: $50-$53 per hour

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Special Education
  • LBS1 certified in Illinois

Key Responsibilities

  • Accommodate, modify and adapt lessons and curriculum as needed to meet individual student needs and IEP Goals
  • Support in the facilitation of IEP meetings as well as development of the IEPC
  • Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the developmental levels and interests of their students
  • Set and communicate clear expectations for classroom behavior and school environment by applying positive reinforcement and/or behavior modification techniques as needed
  • Assist in the development and implementation of student behavior intervention plans
