School Services - School Special Education Teacher - $50-55 per hour

Available positions: Middle school opportunity case managing 6th grade and coteaching 6th grade math, High school opportunity case managing 9th grade and coteaching ELA for 9th grade
Dates: August 17 to end of May
In-person only
Pay Rate: $50-$55 per hour
Qualifications
- B.A/B.S. degree in teaching from an accredited institution or related field of teaching
- Mn State Licensure in teaching in appropriate subject area
- Abs licensed, ASD preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Accommodate, modify and adapt lessons and curriculum as needed to meet individual student needs and IEP Goals
- Serve as a facilitator for IEP meetings and assist in developing IEPs
- Create a classroom environment that supports learning and meets the developmental and interest levels of students
- Establish and communicate clear expectations for classroom behavior and school environment through the use of positive reinforcement and/or behavior modification techniques
- Assist in the development and implementation of student behavior intervention plans
