Cross Country Education is seeking a School Services School Special Education Teacher for a local contract job in Clinton Township, Michigan.
About the Role
Provide specialized instruction in a self-contained classroom serving up to 15 students, supported by two paraprofessionals, using individualized teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Develop and implement instructional plans that promote students' academic, social, and behavioral growth in a structured learning environment. Collaborate with paraprofessionals, educators, and families to support student progress and foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture. Monitor student performance, maintain required documentation, and adapt instruction to meet individual educational goals.
Duration: 41 weeks
40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with a Special Education endorsement
- Experience teaching students with diverse learning needs in a self-contained or elementary special education setting preferred
Pay
Earn $45.20 - $46.10 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
