Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a local contract position in Cincinnati, Ohio, supporting students through the 2026-2027 school year.
About the role
Deliver specialized instruction and intervention services to elementary students with diverse learning needs through inclusive classroom support, small-group instruction, and individualized teaching strategies. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), using student data to guide instruction and measure progress toward goals. Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to provide academic and behavioral supports that promote student success. Provide targeted literacy and math interventions to help students access grade-level curriculum and achieve meaningful academic growth.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License (Mild/Moderate Educational Needs) or eligibility to obtain licensure before the start date
- Experience supporting students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Developmental Delays (DD), and other diverse learning needs preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and evidence-based instructional strategies

Pay
$43.00 - $55.30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
Schedule
