Job Details

  • Dates: NOW - June 11, 2026 (PLUS summer)
  • HOURS: 7:30am - 3:00pm, 30-minute duty free lunch (7hour days, 35 hour weeks)
  • Ratio: 10 students to 1 teacher + 1 paraprofessional
  • Setting: Special Education; One building
  • In person only; M-F

Key Responsibilities

  • Accommodate, modify and adapt lessons and curriculum as needed to meet individual student needs and IEP Goals
  • Support in the facilitation of IEP meetings as well as development of the IEPC
  • Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the developmental levels and interests of their students
  • Set and communicate clear expectations for classroom behavior and school environment by applying positive reinforcement and/or behavior modification techniques as needed.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of student behavior intervention plans
