School Services - School Special Education Teacher - $43-50 per hour

About the role

AHS Staffing is seeking a School Services Special Education Teacher for a local contract position in Blaine, Minnesota. PediaStaff is looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work with students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD) in the Blaine, MN area for the 2026‑2027 school year. The role is school‑based, serving students with EBD, and involves a 33‑week contract with shifts of 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction based on students' learning needs and IEP goals
• Modify and adapt curriculum and lessons as needed
• Develop and implement IEPs and participate in IEP meetings
• Create a structured, supportive classroom environment conducive to learning
• Establish clear expectations and utilize positive behavior supports
• Assist with developing and implementing behavior intervention plans
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and other members of the educational team

Requirements

• Current Minnesota Special Education Teacher License required
• Experience supporting students with emotional and behavioral needs preferred

$42.50–$50 per hour

Schedule

Full Time, 37.5 hours per week (per PediaStaff); also noted as 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts for a 33‑week contract.
