Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction and adapt teaching strategies to meet the unique learning needs of students.
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.
• Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families to monitor student progress and adjust supports as needed.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment while implementing appropriate behavior support strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification.
• Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• CPR/First Aid certification and Crisis Intervention training.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs and supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs.
