Ready to make a meaningful impact in students’ lives? Cross Country Education is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to support a small caseload of K–5 students in Frisco, TX and help them reach their full potential during the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Overview: Provide specialized instruction and support for students in a Functional Academics classroom. Support a caseload of approximately 9 students, with paraeducator support. Develop and implement individualized instructional strategies to promote academic, behavioral, and functional growth. Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to support student success and ensure appropriate accommodations. Maintain documentation, support IEP processes, and foster an inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Texas Teaching Certification with Special Education endorsement
- Valid Texas ESL Supplemental Certification
- Valid Texas Fingerprint Clearance Card (FAST)
- Handle with Care, CPI, or similar crisis prevention/de-escalation training (or willingness to complete training)
