Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff: Special Education Teacher in St. Paul, MN area. We're currently seeking two dedicated Special Education Teachers to support middle school students in the St. Paul, MN area.

Responsibilities

• Accommodate, modify and adapt lessons and curriculum as needed to meet individual student needs and IEP Goals
• Support in the facilitation of IEP meetings as well as development of the IEP
• Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the developmental levels and interests of their students
• Set and communicate clear expectations for classroom behavior and school environment by applying positive reinforcement and/or behavior modification techniques as needed
• Assist in the development and implementation of student behavior intervention plans

Qualifications

• B.A/B.S. degree in teaching from an accredited institution or related field of teaching
• Minnesota State Licensure in teaching in appropriate subject area
• ABS licensed, ASD preferred

Available positions: Middle school opportunity 7th grade resource and case management with some co-teaching in math. Dates: ASAP to end of May. In-person only.
