About the Role
Ready to champion inclusive fitness and empower students to move without limits? Conduct comprehensive physical and motor assessments to determine eligibility and lead the development of individualized goals within the Individualized Education Program (IEP) framework. Design specialized PE programs for a diverse K–12 population, modifying equipment to ensure equitable access. Manage a roving caseload across various sites, ensuring all documentation meets strict compliance standards. Work alongside teachers, therapists, and families to integrate adaptive strategies into the broader school day.
Responsibilities

- Design and implement specialized physical education programs for K–12 students with diverse needs
- Modify equipment and activities to ensure equitable access for all students
- Manage a roving caseload across multiple school sites
- Maintain compliance with all documentation and reporting standards
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to integrate adaptive strategies into daily school routines
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- Valid California Teaching Certification with the Adapted Physical Education (APE) Authorization (Required)
- Expertise in evaluating motor skills and writing data-driven IEP goals for students with a wide range of disabilities

Pay
$60.00 - $61.20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives
Schedule
- 40 hours per week (guaranteed 22.5 hours per week)
- 8-hour shifts
- Consistent daytime schedule
