Zack Group is seeking a School Services School Special Education Teacher for a travel job in Grandview, Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Teach students with special educational needs according to curriculum guidelines.
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student learning.
• Assist in classroom management and behavior support.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

• Current state or equivalent compact license.
• At least 2 years of recent SPED Paraprofessional experience as an Education Paraprofessional.
• Active or pending state license as an SPED Paraprofessional.
• Current BLS and/or Specialty Certifications for SPED Paraprofessional.
• 2 current leadership references, 1 current co-worker.
• Pass background/urine drug screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Proficiency in using assistive technology.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Pay

Compensation and benefits package includes highly competitive pay rates, meals and housing, and a day 1 health benefits package. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
