About the Role

Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in Bronx, New York, to hire an Occupational Therapist for a local contract position. This role focuses on delivering school-based OT services to help students succeed while maintaining a balanced schedule with evenings, weekends, and holidays off.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with a New York license (or eligibility to obtain one)
  • Passion for working with kids and a creative, flexible approach
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Responsibilities

  • Deliver OT services based on each student's IEP
  • Develop, implement, and track therapy plans that actually work
  • Evaluate students, collect data, and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to help students thrive
  • Work across multiple grade levels (some travel between schools may be required)
  • Potentially supervise OT assistants

Pay

  • $50.60 – $54.50 per hour
  • $3,000 assignment bonus available *conditions apply; ask recruiter for details

Schedule

  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • 6 hours per week
  • Shift: 3 hours, days
  • Start Date: ASAP
