About the Role
Join Cross Country Education as an Occupational Therapist in Sebring, Florida, and help students reach their full potential by providing meaningful support that builds essential skills for success during the school year.
- Conduct specialized evaluations to determine students’ functional abilities and identify barriers to learning in fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care domains.
- Develop and implement goal-oriented occupational therapy interventions aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide direct student support and collaborate with educators on environmental modifications and adaptive equipment recommendations.
- Maintain detailed records and monitor student data to ensure interventions are effective and aligned with educational objectives.
Requirements
- Master's degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
- Active Florida Occupational Therapy License
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
