Responsibilities

• Assess the medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions of referred patients requiring rehabilitation services.
• Administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record their condition, and educate patients and families in appropriate occupational therapy methods.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited school.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist / OT or in the process of obtaining one.
• CPR certification.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.

Pay

Pay package is based on 7.5 hour shifts and 37.5 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
