School Route Driver (Class B)

About the role

Purity Dairy has immediate openings for dependable CDL‑B delivery truck drivers to operate a straight truck safely and efficiently, manually unload and deliver various dairy products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Drivers build relationships with each customer using positive, friendly attitudes and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations. Purity Dairy is a farmer‑owned brand of Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), a dairy marketing cooperative owned by more than 12,500 family farmers. DFA manufactures cheese, butter, fluid milk, ice cream, dairy ingredients and more under well‑known regional brands, delivering the simple pleasures of dairy from family farm‑owners to communities nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Operate a straight truck safely and efficiently
• Manually unload and deliver dairy products to assigned customer locations
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships
• Become familiar with customer operations to meet their needs and expectations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Six months of related experience preferred
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL) with air brake endorsement
• Clean driving record
• 21 years of age or older
• Ability to pass pre‑employment screenings (drug, background, criminal checks)
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 55 pounds
• Willing to work flexible hours, including overtime, occasional weekends and holidays

Pay

$23.10 per hour (up to)

Schedule

Monday‑Friday, start times between 12 am and 6 am; routes are completed each night so drivers are home nightly.
