About the role
The Admissions Representative is responsible for presenting Capri Cosmetology Learning Centers and its programs to prospective students and their families. This role requires being friendly, energetic, and possessing excellent communication and follow-up skills.
Responsibilities
- Read and understand the Admissions Training Manual
- Control and handle admissions office and recruitment of students
- Quantify all leads, enrolled students, dropouts, and graduates
- Organize and manage new leads generated through multiple resources
- Marketing and promoting school in salons/spas
- Attending school/college fairs and events
- Informs management by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and territory analyses
- Contact leads via phone, text, email, and hard mail (if requested)
- Interview and enroll prospective students
- Track progress of prospects (lead-contact-appointment-enrollment-start)
- Implement and host open house events to promote upcoming classes
- Congnunicate regularly with Director of Admissions (DOA) regarding class numbers, issues, etc.
- Coordinate with Financial Aid Representative to ensure packaging/enrollment in a timely manner
- Understand enrollment criteria: Highschool Diploma or HSE (formerly GED); Ability to Benefit Test/ATB - no FA for ATB students; must be 17 years of age; must speak, understand, and read English language
- Familiarize yourself with Wonderlic, the company who provides the ATB test
- Maintain student records in various databases (Freedom, School Vision, Campus Login)
- Communicate regularly with Director of Admissions (DOA) regarding class numbers, issues, etc.
- Update Director of Admissions and other office staff of any enrollment changes (No Start, Change of start date, Schedule change, etc.)
- Conduct group tours for local schools/agencies (Charter schools in area; Group Homes; etc.)
- Familiarize yourself with the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NACCAS)
- Understand all programs and what they entail (Hairdressing & Cosmetology; Esthetics & Makeup; MUD; Lash Class, Laser Class, Waxing Class, Nail Class)
Requirements
- Highschool Diploma or HSE (formerly GED)
