Qualifications
- Master's Degree or Ed. Specialist in School Psychology
- Full approval as a Michigan School Psychologist; internship year will be considered
Responsibilities
- Serve as building coordinator of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) with a strong understanding of MTSS and interpretation of data
- Facilitate building-level Section 504 evaluations and meetings
- Participate in building-level special education evaluations under IDEA and Section 504 evaluations, demonstrating strong diagnostic skills and experience in the Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team process
- Take a lead role in functional behavioral analysis (FBA) and development of comprehensive behavior intervention plans (BIP)
- Serve on the building crisis support team
- Maintain accurate and confidential records
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work effectively on a multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate with parents, educational staff, and other professionals
- Facilitate the IEP process
- Apply knowledge of applied behavior analysis
- Trained in, or willing to be trained in, non-violent crisis intervention
Pay
Appropriate placement on the current Teacher's Master Agreement salary schedule.
