School Psychologist (Certified) - $54-55 per hour
Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a local contract position in Chicago, Illinois. This role focuses on providing assessment services exclusively, with no counseling responsibilities.
About the Role
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, including cognitive, academic, adaptive behavior, and social-emotional assessments to support special education and planning.
- Complete assessment reports, interpret evaluation results, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to inform educational recommendations.
- Serve multiple assigned school sites while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with state and district requirements.
Duration: 41 weeks | 40 hours per week | 8-hour shifts | Local Contract
Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement.
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a school-based setting.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (preferred for one opening).
Pay
Earn $54.20 - $55.30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
