About the role

Join a collaborative educational team dedicated to helping students thrive! Cross Country Education is seeking a School Psychologist to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth in Tempe, AZ, during the 2026–2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments to support students' academic and developmental needs.
• Interpret evaluation results, prepare detailed reports, and provide recommendations to guide individualized educational planning.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams through IEP participation, consultation, and support of student interventions.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and deliver staff training and parent education to promote positive student outcomes.

Requirements

• Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field; Doctoral degree preferred
• Valid Arizona School Psychologist Certification or Licensure
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Experience conducting psychological assessments, counseling, and consultation in school settings
• Knowledge of special education regulations, behavioral intervention practices, and student support frameworks

Qualifications
