About the role

American Medical Staffing is seeking a School Psychologist (Certified) for a local contract job in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify students' psychological needs (S.Psych.)
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored intervention plans
  • Maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with all ethical and regulatory guidelines related to School Psychology

Requirements

  • Qualified applicants MUST have a valid School Psychologist licensure.
  • Will be willing to obtain state licensure.
  • 2 years of experience as a School Psychologist preferred but not required; new grads welcome to apply.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Licensure as a School Psychologist in the state where the position is located.

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals
  • Knowledge of child development and mental health issues
  • Proficiency in assessment tools and interventions
