Exciting NEW SY26-27 opportunity for a School Psychologist in the Glendale Heights, IL area. New graduates are encouraged to apply. This is a full-time, in-person position with daily hours from 8:55 AM to 2:55 PM, spanning the 2026-27 school year with an immediate need through the end of the school year.

About the Role

The School Psychologist will split time between two elementary schools, assisting students with academic, social, and emotional well-being. As a critical member of the IEP team, you will provide insight and guidance on student academic and behavioral functioning.

Responsibilities

  • Administer diagnostic and curriculum-based assessments.
  • Use intelligence and academic performance testing to determine student diagnoses and recommendations for specialized services.
  • Observe students in various academic and social settings to gather data on overall school functioning.
  • Provide consultative psychology services to parents and school staff as described in the IEP.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in School Psychology.
  • Illinois Professional Educator Licensure (PEL) for School Psychologist.
  • One year of full-time, supervised internship in a school setting.

Pay

$50-60/hour.

Schedule

  • Full-time, 37 hours per week.
  • Daily shift: 8:55 AM – 2:55 PM.
  • Duration: 13 weeks, starting 08/31/2026.
