LEARN is a network of high-performing college preparatory, tuition-free public elementary and middle schools located in Chicago, Waukegan, North Chicago, and Washington, D.C. What You'll Do

  • Support students to succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally
  • Maintain quality services in accordance with state/federal guidelines
  • Ensure instruction, modifications, and other supports for students with special needs are implemented consistently
  • Oversee multiple campuses and serve as a consultant regarding Multi-Tier System of Support (MTSS) systems
  • Lead interventions and progress monitoring of Tier 3 scholars
  • Prepare and present documents/reports within compliance timelines and participate in school-based problem-solving meetings
  • Request specific information from non-school agencies and maintain confidentiality as required
  • Maintain and document records of direct services, collaboration logs, and progress monitoring data
  • Stay updated on research-based best practices and evaluation tools to ensure scholars are identified appropriately and receive high-quality services
  • Provide professional development and share information with psychology teams and other stakeholders as necessary
  • Participate in school and Network meetings, serve as a liaison between the psych team and other teams, and communicate with parents and staff
  • Demonstrate knowledge and follow all Network, federal, state, and local rules, regulations, and laws

What You'll Need

  • A Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology
  • 2+ years of school-based experience with valid State/District Licensure/Certificate for School Psychology (in IL, a PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement)
  • A demonstrated record of living LEARN's Core Values
  • A persistent and intentional mindset towards the overall success of each child

  • Bilingual (Spanish)
