School Psychologist
The School Psychologist provides services that help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. The Psychologist collaborates with teachers, administrators, families, and other mental health professionals to create a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment for all students. The Psychologist works toward strengthening connections between home and school.
About the Role
The School Psychologist works within the Special Education Department of the High School Campus as assigned. Reporting to the Director of Special Education.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other mental health professionals to support student success
- Create a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment for all students
- Strengthen connections between home and school
Requirements
- Master's Degree or higher degree from an accredited institution
- Licensing/Certification Requirements:
- Completion of all requirements to obtain Arizona Department of Education Professional Non-Teaching Certificate as a School Psychologist
- Valid State of Arizona licensure as a Psychologist
- Valid DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card
- If applicable, must obtain required certifications for being a Direct Service Claim (DSC) provider and fulfill all reporting responsibilities
