Member of the Field Trip and Teacher Resources Team, supporting day-to-day tasks for the Teaching Toolbox and Field Trip programs. Provides general office support including data entry, inventory, document management, and copying.
Responsibilities
- Handles weekly routine tasks associated with the logistics of assigned education programs.
- Assists with data entry and reporting.
- Manages inventory supply lists and materials for assigned educational programs.
- Physically lifts and moves large toolbox kits around the museum for teacher access and inventory.
- Performs office tasks to support Field Trips, Teaching Toolboxes, and other programming.
- Acts as assistant during education programs, interacting with K-12 students during field trips.
- Clearly communicates needs, goals, and updates via email and in-person.
Requirements
- Equivalency: 1 year of higher education can substitute for 1 year of directly related work experience (e.g., bachelor’s degree = 4 years of experience).
- Little to no related experience required for Program Assistant I level.
Preferences
- Interest in working with Grades K-12 students in field trip programming.
Schedule
Part-time, Monday–Friday. Must have availability during morning hours (9 a.m.–12 p.m.) to participate in programming. Final schedule decided with supervisor.
Pay
$15.50 per hour.
