About the role

The role involves using student achievement data and related data to make decisions regarding the school improvement plan, teacher professional development requirements, and programmatic changes.

Responsibilities

• Establishes DoWEA educator performance elements and evaluates teacher work.
• Initiates communications between school administration, students, teachers, parents, the local community, and base offices that provide services to the school and/or staff.

Requirements

• Conditions of employment include a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement, proof of U.S. Citizenship, direct deposit of pay, suitability/fitness determination, and a secret clearance.
• Appointment subject to a two-year supervisory probation period, a two-year trial or probationary period, and a tier 3 (T3) investigation with childcare checks.

Qualifications

• Education: A minimum of three years of successful classroom teaching, specialist, or other professional educator experience at the Pre-K -12 level is required. A minimum of two years of appropriate experience in a staff or supervisory position is also required.
• Specialized Experience: Demonstrated ability to administer school educational programs and effectively supervise educators and support personnel.
• Human Capital Management, Instructional Program Administration, Learning and Program Evaluation, Partnering Education, Foreign Degrees and Course Work From Non-accredited Institutions, and additional evaluation procedures.
