About the role

Pershing Elementary is seeking a School Playground Recreation Aide to supervise and engage students during designated recess and lunch periods. This permanent, part-time position follows a 10-month school calendar with consistent weekday hours.

Schedule

• Part-time, 3 hours per day
• Monday – Friday, 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM
• 46 weeks per year, 195 days per year
• 10-month position (follows school calendar)

Pay

• $18.64 – $19.42 per hour
• Anniversary/longevity increments included
• Unrepresented salary schedule

Responsibilities

• Supervise elementary school students on the playground during recess and lunch periods
• Organize and lead recreational activities and games
• Ensure student safety and enforce playground rules
• Maintain a positive and inclusive environment for all students
