About the role
Join a dedicated team supporting students in Alabama school districts by providing occupational therapy services across multiple schools. This full-time role involves conducting evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans focused on sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities, and collaborating with IEP teams to promote student success. You will also offer consultation and training to educators to enhance fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, attention, and executive functioning skills. Ensuring all documentation complies with state and district standards is essential.
Responsibilities
- Conduct student evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapy focused on sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities
- Collaborate with IEP teams to support student success
- Provide consultation and training to educators on fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, attention, and executive functioning skills
- Maintain documentation in compliance with state and district standards
Requirements
- Occupational therapist licensure in Alabama
- Current CPR and first aid certification
