School Outreach Volunteer
About the role
Leveling the Fields is a programs‑focused nonprofit dedicated to increasing the number of girls in sports, recognizing the strong correlation between sports participation and future leadership roles. We break down barriers and provide universal access to sports regardless of financial constraints, geographical limitations, or lack of options. Through our EmpowerPlay and PlayFit programs we aim to get more girls into sports, keep them engaged, and equip them with the tools needed to thrive as future leaders. The School Outreach Volunteer connects with local schools through phone calls, emails, and in‑person visits to introduce Leveling the Fields and encourage schools to apply for our programs. Position is based in the Charleston tri‑county area with remote outreach and local school visits; reports to the Executive Director or designated Programs Committee lead.
The Impact You’ll Make: Every school connection creates an opportunity to reach girls who may otherwise miss out on sports. Your outreach will help more schools take the first step toward bringing those opportunities to their students.
