Part-time, 9-month administrative Graduate Assistant position within the School of Education, located in Erie, Pa.

Responsibilities
- Restock copy machine.
- Serve as School of Education receptionist.
- Maintain the job bulletin board.
- Upkeep of School of Education social media platforms.
- Student file maintenance, organization, and filing.
- Sort mail into faculty mailboxes.
- Maintain cleanliness and neatness in all School of Education areas.
- Prepare daily course materials (e.g., copies) for faculty and staff.
- Greet students and visitors, directing them to the appropriate office.
- Perform general office work (e.g., filing, printing, scanning, campus deliveries, organization, inventory).
- Conduct general research (e.g., best practices and programs, comparison of peer institutions, new ideas/concepts).
- Assist with special projects associated with the college.
- Uphold professionalism and integrity as a student representative of Gannon University and the School of Education.
Requirements
- Familiarity with social media platforms.
- Excellent reading, writing, typing, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, demonstrated by previous work experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe, MS Excel, MS Forms, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and sign a confidentiality agreement.
- Reliable, honest, and in good academic standing with no prior academic integrity violations.
- Adherence to strict confidentiality policies.
Physical Demands
- Bend, lift, push, and pull to move boxes and supplies throughout the Palumbo Academic Center.
- May lift up to 30-50 pounds.
- May transport items across campus.
Hours: 10 hours per week, office schedule depending on candidate’s availability. Non-exempt, 1st shift position.
