Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Model a personal commitment to the goals and values of Liberty University, engage in an active commitment to, and experience of, personal spiritual formation within a biblically informed Christian worldview.
• Be committed to the evangelical standards and mission of Liberty University.
• Teach courses as assigned.
• Take advantage of teaching moments and opportunities using weekly announcements and emails.
• Carry out various administrative tasks as dictated by Instructional Mentor, Faculty Support Coordinator, Online Chairs, and other department administrators.
• Items include roster verification, reporting items, and timely submission of final grades.
• Teach material from approved curriculum in accordance with assigned schedule to ensure student satisfaction.
• Aid students in achieving completion of objectives and learning outcomes.
• Provide regular and timely feedback to students.
• Participate in school retention initiatives by maintaining productive contact with students and aiding absent students.
• Advises students in matters related to academics, attendance, and behaviors.
• Maintain and report student grades and attendance in accordance with university policies.
• Strictly adhere to Liberty University policies, representing the University in an exemplary manner.
• Work effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission.

Qualifications, Credentials, And Competencies

• Earned a master’s or terminal degree in Information Systems or related discipline.
• Minimum of 18 graduate hours in Information Systems or related discipline.
• MUST have a current certification in Adobe.
• Related disciplines include Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Educational Technology, Information Systems, Information and Operations Management, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Information Technology Management, Management Information Systems.
