School Occupational Therapist - $55-65 per hour

About the role

School‑Based Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full‑time, local contract position in Tacoma, WA for the 2026–2027 school year (September 2, 2026 – June 23, 2027). The role supports secondary‑aged students in a school setting, working independently with a caseload of approximately 40–45 students.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to secondary school students for three consecutive weeks.
• Dedicate the fourth week to paperwork, documentation, planning, and related responsibilities.
• Manage a caseload of roughly 40–45 students, ensuring individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain strong organization, documentation, and communication with school staff and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current or eligible Washington State Occupational Therapist license.
• Washington ESA certification required.
• School‑based experience preferred; new graduates must have completed a school‑based OT internship.
• Ability to work independently and manage a school‑based caseload.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
