School Occupational Therapist - $45 per hour

Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in Wilson, North Carolina to hire a School Occupational Therapist for a local contract position.

About the role

Help kids succeed as a School-Based Occupational Therapist. This role offers a great work-life balance with evenings, weekends, and holidays free.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT services based on each student’s IEP
• Develop, implement, and track effective therapy plans
• Evaluate students, collect data, and monitor progress
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Work across multiple grade levels (some travel between schools may be required)
• Potentially supervise OT assistants

Requirements

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with a North Carolina license (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Passion for working with kids and a creative, flexible approach
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Pay

• Hourly rate: $41.45 - $44.60 per hour
• $3,000 assignment bonus available (conditions apply; ask recruiter for details)

Schedule

• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 6 hours per week
• 1-hour shifts, days
