Essential to the Gwinnett County School Nutrition Program, ESS workers in Café Gwinnett earn $16.12 per hour as the rate of pay. They enjoy comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401K plan. Work schedules can be flexible, ranging from 4-5 hours per day each school day to working on a substitute basis with the ability to create your own schedule. Enjoy weekends, weeknights, student holidays, and summers off. Compensation is paid on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to students
• Ensure food safety and quality
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
• Adhere to nutrition guidelines and regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Georgia driver’s license
• Food handler’s permit

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or related field preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
