Job Summary
As a School Nurse with Interim HealthCare® Staffing, you will be a trusted caregiver, mentor, and advocate, ensuring the health and well-being of students every day.
What You Will Do
- Provide direct care to students for acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic health conditions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and school policies
- Monitor and manage student health records to ensure compliance with state regulations
- Develop and implement care plans for students with medical needs
- Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics, including disease prevention, hygiene, and wellness
- Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate with emergency services when necessary
- Collaborate with school staff and community health resources to support students' well-being
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license in MO
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric, school health, or community health nursing
- Current CPR certification
- Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently
- Caregiver who values collaboration with students, staff, and families
