School Nurse (RN)

Minimum Requirements

• Associate's degree and one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in school nursing or other related nursing field.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Registered Professional Nurse licensed in the State of Florida.
• Valid First Aid/CPR/AED certificate issued by the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or entity approved by the Florida Department of Health. Certifications and license need to be kept current.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing or related field preferred.

This is a pool vacancy for the 26-27 School Year. Selected candidates will be assigned to vacant positions. The role of the School Nurse is to oversee all medical care of students during the school day. They will train and supervise the Health Clinic Aide as well as school staff who care for student's medical needs.
