About the role
Middletown Township Public Schools is seeking a qualified nurse to promote health and safety in the middle school environment and provide health services to students, faculty, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Promote health and safety in the middle school environment
- Provide health services to students, faculty, and staff
Requirements
- NJ School Nurse certificate or eligibility required
- Demonstrated expertise in school health nursing practice and emergency procedures
- Knowledge of child growth and development, community and family dynamics, current health issues and wellness education
- Knowledge of community health and social services resources and ability to communicate effectively with nonschool health professionals and social service agencies
- Criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
- Current residency in New Jersey, approved residency waiver, or candidate agrees to obtain residency within one year of employment

Benefits
The Middletown Township School District offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Terms of Employment: Replacement Position. Salary Range: $60,673 - $87,673 (as per the negotiated contract and commensurate with level of education).

Schedule
Replacement position available from August 27, 2026 to June 30, 2027
